The images of Humpback Whales were taken on a whale-watching boat trip from Busselton, W.A. The trip lasted for several hours, during which time our group were delighted to see at least a dozen Humpbacks. The skipper was highly experienced and found several groups of whales only a mile or so offshore. We were fortunate to see a fine display of Humpback Whale behaviour. We saw several mother and calf pairs travelling together, males chasing females, pectoral fin slapping and a number of spectacular full breaches, when the whales break clear of the water. It was a truly breathtaking wildlife experience. The dolphins were spotted feeding in the sea grass close to the Penguin Island jetty.
