Images from trips to Western Australia, Tasmania and Victoria in 2009 and 2012. Australia is a wonderful country to visit and a joy for a photographer. The diversity of habitat is incredible. Western Australia in Spring is simply stunning, with its abundance of wild flowers, birds and whale migrations just off the coastline. Tasmania is an excellent place to see Australian wildlife, as nocturnal species are more easily seen during the day. The island still retains large populations of its native marsupial fauna.
